Tia Strickland is the Program Specialist for Black Programs. A first-generation college graduate from Cincinnati, Ohio, she holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. With over 10 years of multifaceted educational leadership and program management experience, Tia has also served as a faculty member at universities in both the United States and China. In her role, she leverages her administrative and academic experience to advance the mission of Black Programs, champion student success, and foster an empowering, engaged community for scholars across NMSU.

Fun Fact: During the pursuit of her MBA, Tia completed global immersions across five continents, studying in Chile, Cuba, France, Israel, Palestine, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
